NOTE: More information to come later this year for 2024-2025 5th graders....... Hello 2023-2024 5th grade friends and family, The time has come to think about our children graduating from elementary school and moving on! There will be a lot of fun activities at the end of the year that our 5th graders will be participating in! ALL 5th graders will be traveling to Philadelphia, having fun at the 5th Grade Picnic and of course, graduation!!! A lot of work and planning will have to be done. We want to be as transparent as possible so that everyone knows how much goes into making 5th Grade special for our students! Fogelsville PTO contributes up to ~$65/per student (approved in the budget and itemized as follow) This includes: Field Trip admission - $30 (Constitution Center and Iron Pigs if scheduled) Yearbook- $20 T-Shirt - $8 Picnic- $4 Graduation- $3. The only “uncovered” expense is the Philadelphia trip Charter Buses which rely on contributions by 5th-grade families. This year, due to increased prices, each student's suggested goal will be $50. Our goal is to collect donations first before any fundraising occurs. Donations can be made by sending cash, check made payable to “Fogelsville PTO” or through Fogelsville PTO Venmo (scan code and note “5th trip, student name”) We are so lucky to have the great support and encouragement of Parkland School District and all the Fogelsville families, PTO, and staff! We need everyone’s help in making this year one to remember for our 5th graders!
